About this park
A beloved 45,000-square-foot DIY-originated skatepark that evolved into an official city park under I-610 near the Paris Avenue overpass. Free, covered, lit, and open 24 hours, it is the heart of New Orleans skateboarding and opened with a ribbon cutting in February 2015.
